This is the website and weblog for Gavin Skinner, an interactive software engineer and mummer, based in the fair City of Bristol in the south west corner of the United Kingdom.

Musings on my blog touch on some of the subjects of the mummers’ plays I’ve written and performed in with Rag Morris Mummers over the last few years. The plays include Bold Robin Hood, Prince Albert and the Lionheart, The Big Bang and The Nine Lives of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

I’ve been working as an interactive software engineer and multimedia designer for twenty five years, including for sixteen years with the At-Bristol Science Centre, where I created over one hundred software based exhibits in the permanent exhibitions, on touring exhibitions and online. I’m now working in Bristol as a software developer.
